Scholarships/Grants
Joe DeGrazia Memorial Scholarship
Available to Sonoma County residents pursuing a career in agriculture. Applicants must have some agriculture experience, such as an agricultural 4-H project, or work experience on a ranch. They must be entering or attending a college or trade school.
4-H Foundation of Sonoma County Scholarship
Available to Sonoma County 4-H members who have been active in 4-H a minimum of 4 years, including his/her Junior and Senior years of high school. Applicant must be entering or attending a college or accredited trade school.
Rotary Club of Santa Rosa Leonard Talbot Memorial Scholarship
Available to a graduating senior from a public or private high school within the Santa Rosa City Schools service who has been an active participant in either 4-H or the Big Brother/Big Sister organization for a minumum of one year. Applicant must be entering an accredited university, community college, or trade/business school diring the following semester.
4-H Foundation of Sonoma County Project/Event Grants
Available to 4-H Clubs and county-wide projects, activities and events. Funds will not be granted for payment of judges, or for expenses normally incurred in carrying out a project.

Graduating from Healdsburg High School, is a member of Healdsburg 4-H, will be going to the Modesto Junior College to study agricultural business.

Graduating from Santa Rosa High School, is a member of Forestville 4-H, plans to attend Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and study agricultural business.
$500 - Jaimie MacDonald
Graduating from Petaluma High School, is a member of Live Oak 4-H, plans to attend University of Santa Barbara and major in business. She is looking forward to being an entrepreneur.
$500 - Lauren Upham
Graduated from American Christian Academy, she is a member of Wild Oak 4-H, and a former Sonoma County All Star. Lauren plans to attend SRJC and have a career in law.

Graduating from American Christian Academy, Alison has just completed her year as a Sonoma County All Star, is a member of Wild Oak 4-H, plans to attend SRJC and hopes to get a master of business administration.

Graduating from Casa Grande School, he is a member of Wilson 4-H. Tyler plans to attend UC Davis and study agriculture education.
$2,000 - Morgan Lynch
Graduating from Windsor High School, a member of Alexander Valley 4-H, former Sonoma County All Star and current California State Ambassador. Morgan plans to attend the Wyotech Technical Institute and to pursue a career in the automotive industry.

The 4-H Foundation of Sonoma County is proud to announce the names of our seven outstanding 4-H recipients for the Foundation's 2006 scholarships.
$500 - Tiffany Tucker
Analy High School, Gold Ridge 4-H Club, will be going to the National Holistic Institute at SRJC to study to become an equine massage therapist.
$1,250 - Lilianne Mays
Graduating from Montgomery High School, past Sonoma County All Star, is a member of Wild Oak 4-H, plans to attend Penn State at University Park, PA, and study medieval & Renaissance studies.
$1,250 - Jennifer Beretta
Graduating from Analy High School, is a member of Canfield 4-H, plans to attend SRJC and study Agriculture Business. Jennifer will also be receiving the Joseph DeGrazia Memorial Scholarship for $1,000.
$1,500 - Amanda Goodanetz
Graduating from Petaluma High School, is a member of Live Oak 4-H, plans to attend Colorado State and study history.
$1,500 - Trevor Hewitt
Graduating from Casa Grande High School, past Sonoma County All Star, is a member of Cotati 4-H, plans to attend SRJC and study digital design.
$2,000 - Katie Jack
Graduated from Ursuline High School, past Sonoma County All Star and member of Live Oak 4-H, plans to attend SRJC and study culinary arts. Katie was selected as the 4-H applicant to go on to the Leonard Talbot Memorial Scholarship.
$2,000 - Angela DeGraffenreid
Graduated from Montgomery High School and Chico State University, a past member of Steuben 4-H, plans to attend Dominican University and get her master's degree in occupational therapy.
